This is a unique cultural monument in the region of Bad Hersfeld: the historic cemetery of Schenklengsfeld with 270 artistically crafted tombstones from the 17th to 19th centuries. The Schenklengsfeld cemetery was laid out in 1604 for the deceased of the entire parish.
