Quite a nice spot to photograph the lighthouse and the "Lotseninsel" as well as a group of trees in the nature reserve even though you can not go down to the water level. You can take pictures from all along the Schleidamm.

Photography Tips

As it might be quite windy there if you want to take a longtime exposure you really need a very stable tripod. Otherwise, take the photo with a higher shutter speed and another with a long exposure and merge them. That's the way I worked here.

Travel Information

The "Schleidamm" is only to be used by redsidens (even though in off season and early morning nobody should mind). From the parking lot it will be an about 10 minute walk
