The spot is great for sunset sky colors mostly in summer and autumn. It is though very dependable on the weather condition.

Photography Tips

Bring a tripod, wide angle lens, ND and Polarising Filter to enhance the colors. I actually took the shot from a small tripod, 20cm from the ground.

Travel Information

The spot is very accessible with the car. The parking lot is located on Highway B29 driving from Stuttgart to Aalen. After the Plüderhausen exit sign, drive 2 more kilometers until you find the Parking lot. From the parking lot walk backwards 50-80 meters. Follow the fence on your left side. Where the fence finishes you will have access to the spot.
