The Riesenbühl tower in the Black Forest offers a fantastic view as far as the Alps. The surrounding forest area also offers numerous hiking trails through the wilderness of the southern Black Forest. There are also explanations at the top of the tower indicating which mountain peaks you are looking at.

Flying with a drone is particularly worthwhile at sunrise to capture the individual rays of light against the sun in the play of light and shadow on the trees.
