The Baumannhütte and the Riesenbühl tower next to it offer numerous opportunities to enjoy a fantastic 360-degree panorama of the Black Forest. On a good day, the view extends as far as the Alps and offers a magnificent mountain panorama.

Photography Tips

Not only from the Riesenbühl tower, but also from the hut next to it and the surrounding area, you can take beautiful photos of the different treetops and valleys of the Black Forest. So my tip is not just to stay on the tower but also to use the area around it and be flexible with the spot and the conditions.

Travel Information

From the marked parking lot, you need about 20 minutes for the easy ascent over the forest floor.
