Falkenstein Castle is a high medieval hilltop castle in the Harz Mountains. It belongs to the Pansfelde district of the city of Falkenstein/Harz, Harz district in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany.

The basic complex was built around the middle of the 12th century. In the following centuries there were repeated structural changes. The Falkenstein Castle Museum has existed since 1946.
