Germany Sebalder Pfarrhaus
The Sebaldus vicarage is one of the oldest and cityscape-defining architectural monuments in Nuremberg, the layout of which has been preserved to this day.
The medieval landlords of the vicarage were educated, socially upstanding priests, often from the Franconian nobility, who attached great importance to the prestigious furnishings of their living quarters and offices. This is particularly evident in the Sebalder Chörlein from around 1350; it was an extension to the most prestigious room of the building in the Middle Ages and was used as a house chapel
