The church is characterised by the transitional style from Baroque to Classicism, both in its overall design and in its architectural details. The generously proportioned abbey church of the former Premonstratensian Abbey of Rot an der Rot is 67 metres long, 20 metres wide and 22 metres high, whereby the nave is 34 metres long and barely longer than the choir, which is 33 metres long
