The Main Station building in Leipzig is one of Germany's most beautiful stations. Since 2013 it has no longer been europe's biggest terminus due to the opening of the city tunnel.
When trains delay - not unusual in Germany - you can spend on shopping or dining.
In x-mas time the main station is illuminated very beautiful. Try to capture this moment :D

Photography Tips

I took the shot between car traffic lanes and the tram tracks. There's not that much space so be careful. For long time exposure use a stable tripod.

Travel Information

There's no official pedestrian crossing that leads to this spot. Cross the street with care!
Almost every tram line stops at the Main Station.
There are some car parks around - Mains Station west side and Höfe am Brühl.
