There are two lighthouses on the so called "Ellenbogen" of the island. The lighthouse east is a traditional lighthouse with red and white stripes. The lighthouse west is shown here and is ideal for sunset, blue hour and night photography.

Photography Tips

Bring a tripod and try to catch the sea on both sides as well as the lighthouse. The sunrise is a good time to take a photo of this spot.

Travel Information

There’s a private street with a 6,00 € toll to the Ellenbogen from List 4 km away to the northest Point of Germany with 2 Lighthouses and beautiful beaches. Cyclists and hikers are free. Parking is possible in front of the lighthouse.
