The Bonn Carnival takes place annually in Bonn, one of the Rhineland Carnival strongholds. This street carneval begins Thursday before Ash Wednesday with festivities, town hall storms and the hustle and bustle of the Jecken on the streets and in the pubs. The highlight of the session is the large Rosenmontagumzug in the city center of Bonn.
