The Steinhorster Becken is a nature reserve where can find waterfowls and nice scenery. There is a trail around the area and some observation towers. In the middle of the nature conservation park runs the Ems. Leave nothing than footprints, bring nothing than pictures!

Photography Tips

If you will take some landscape pictures i would recommend to do this in the west part of the area. Bring your tripod and some filters with you. If you interessting in the waterfowl go to the observation towers. You will find one in the north and one in the south. But here you need tele lenses 400 mm and up.
