Greece Iconic view of Oia, Santorini
Oia is a scenic village on the northwest edge of the Santorini island within the Cyclades that offers amazing sunsets. During all seasons of the year, there are hordes of people and couples with cameras flocking to the Venetian Palace (ruins) to experience the spectacle.
Photography Tips
Oia is a day or two worth a visit and while it offers many great clicks, it will prove to be a bit frustrating. Tourists, newly wedded couples and photographers will make it harder for you to get the shots but not impossible. Patience is the key. A tripod is necessary.
Travel Information
You can get there by car or by public bus and have to walk to the end of the island. Late April / early May is a good time.
