Byzantine castle, later conquered and rebuild by Hospitaller order. And later still, captured by Ottoman Empire. It is located at a top of a steep hill and commands a great view on both land and sea.

Photography Tips

Take both kit zoom and tele zoom along. When in the castle, just explore the place around and locate all views you may like. It is not big and provides views on Agathi beach side, Haraki beach side, inland (though not great) and sea.

Travel Information

A path climbs atop the hill. At the beginning of the path, a small patch to park a car is available. Be careful on rocks and medieval stairs. It is not exactly dangerous, but a careless step may end with a bruise.
