Afionas is on top of a hill, offering exceptional views in all directions. A special viewpoint is the 3 Brothers restaurant, which offers a balcony with an amazing view onto the islands next to Corfu. Since the sun sets behind those islands, the sky turns crazy after sunset. Enjoy a good traditional greek meal in a family restaurant and let your camera click!

Photography Tips

I guess the owners will not allow tripods, so bring your low-light lenses for handheld photography.

Travel Information

Afionas is a tricky place for car drivers during summer. Be prepared to park far away. You can also easily hike here from Agios Georgios. My suggestion: Spend the day at the fabulous Timoni Beach nearby and get here for dinner when you hike back. A reservation during summer might be helpful.
