Greece The Boulders of Volax, Tinos

This tiny village is located in the interior of the island, set on a plateau surrounded by Granite rocks and enormous boulders that look as if they had been pelted from the sky. As you enter the village you get the feeling of entering a movie scene or a lunar landscape.

Travel Information

You need to have a car. I got to Tinos from Mikonos by a ferry and with a car! Take your time exploring the surroundings of the village, you can find many gorgeous compositions. As you enter the village park anywhere you can find a spot and have a short but exciting walk, also to get acquainted with the cute village and the taverns.
