Greece Churches of St Anastasi & St Spirydon in Oia, Santorini
Two picturesque churches next to each other built on the slope of the caldera.
They are located in the west of Oia, south of the main promenade that runs through the city (from the caldera). With characteristic blue domes, they are one of the most photogenic churches in Oia.
The Church of Anastasi was built in 1865, and the church of St. Spirydon – 2 years later, in 1867.
The Church of Spirydon is a typical example of Santorinian religious architecture. It is a white building on a square plan with a blue dome, the belfry located in the south-east corner is also topped with a blue dome.

Travel Information
You can go by car but also by local bus. During the summer there are itineraries almost half an hour. There is public parking. Avoid private parking because it has large charges. If you go there for the sunset I would suggest you go quite early because later parking is very difficult.
