Greece Panathenaic Stadium, Athens
The Panathenaic Stadium also known as Kallimarmaro (Καλλιμάρμαρο, lit. "beautiful marble"), is a multi-purpose stadium in Athens, Greece. One of the main attractions of Athens, it is the only stadium in the world built entirely of marble.
Photography Tips
The stadium gets quite crowded, especially in summer. Bring an ultra-wide angle lens, or, stitch a panorama to get the whole stadium in one image. Bringing a tripod is a very good idea here. You can take multiple shots from the same position, and erase as many people as you want to. Sometimes it is good to leave in a few people, as they provide useful info for the viewer to see the actual scale of the stadium.
