Greenland Whale watching from coast
Sermeq Kujalleq glacier overlooks with easy trails run to the Sermermiut settlement. From here you do have a great view of the iceberg but also you are pretty sure to see some whales coming close to the shore and ice and play.
Photography Tips
Need a standard telelens (70-200 is enough).
Travel Information
From the old heliport, take the walking trail to the glacier overlook. This is an easy path with a wooden platform to go above the swamp and then stairs to climb up. You reach the top of the wooden stairs. You can move to the right and follow the tracks (small trail), climbing a bit and being careful (not recommended after rain as rocks can be slippery around). This will get you closer to the open water to see the whales.
