The town of Tasiilaq is with its approx. 2.000 inhabitants the biggest settlement / town in East Greenland. You will even find a football field in town. It's surrounded by beautiful mountains and fjord systems.

Photography Tips

Make sure to take a bit of a foreground into the frame to hide the rocks and stones around the football pitch. Use a wide open aperture to make these areas unsharp on purpose.

Travel Information

Tasiilaq can either be reached by boat or by helicopter from Kulusuk airport. The settlement is relatively safe and you can walk by your own. Please always respect the privacy of the local people living there.
