Greenland Tasiilaq Bay, Icebergs

The floating icebergs around the area of Tasiilaq have a very special shape due to the string currents and tides in this area. They can get as big as a ship and being stuck to the ground. Every day, there could be new icebergs washed into the system.

Photography Tips

When taking your drone, make sure to underexpose the iceberg since you will loose the whites (highlights) of the icebergs otherwise.

Travel Information

Make sure to have a permit to fly the drone in East Greenland. In order to get to this place, you can fly to Kulusuk and then take another flight or a boat to Tasiilaq.
