Very impressive buildings with very nice symmetry. There are 5 of them.

Photography Tips

It's possible to use a tripod there.

It might be better to go there after a rain shower because usually, the residents hang out their laundry so you don't get a "clean" shot. ;-)

In general, a wide-angle lens like a 17-40mm lens at 17mm is a good choice if you want to capture the view up so that you cover as many floors as possible within your photo.

Travel Information

The underground floor is accessible to the public but you need to enter from the rear of the building. Accessing other levels you need a code for the security gates. I usually wait for someone to come in and pretend to be a resident and walk behind them. Find a side gate, not the main gate where the security usher stands. The roof is also open to the public. Take the train to Yau Ma Tei station and walk to Oi Man estate. It's about a 25 min walk and there are some uphills so take it easy.
