Hungary Zichy chapel, Lórév

The small chapel in the flood basin of the Danube was built by the noble Zichy family in romanesque style in 1858 commemorating the execution of one of their members after the Hungarian revolution and war of independence.

The place is totally abandoned outside of special occasions or weddings. Wide open fields are surrounding the chapel.
