One of the less viewed Iceland spots, this has great views at sunset. It's a pretty short drive from the airport or the Blue Lagoon, so easily worth a stop by if you have time. There's nothing else of interest around, though, so don't come out here if you haven't seen the other main Iceland locales.

Photography Tips

Be careful of the sea. The spray can come up quite high like on most beaches in Iceland. Don't be stupid with your equipment if you get low on the rocks. Watch the waves for a bit to determine what's safe.

Travel Information

Regular Iceland road for most of the way until it's dirt road for the last 0.2mi. I imagine it can get muddy, but was not bad when we were there.
