Iceland Hrauneyjafoss - Sigöldufoss

Sigöldufoss is located in the highlands of South Iceland. It is next to the power station, Sigölduvirkjun. It used to be a powerful glacial waterfall in the river Tugnaá. The water also has an exotic bluish colour in strong contrast to the surrounding area.

You can park easily on the edges of the road. It's a gravel road F208.
The gravel road is not open all the year long. Please check the driving conditions at www.road.is before planing to go there.
