Close to the main Landmannalaugar campsite, there is a hot spring whee people can take a swim.
In winter this more spectacular as the steam contrast with the snow around

Photography Tips

Wide angle is better - in winter it can be tricky to reach by foot (1.5 to 2m of snow. But as there is a wooden path to it, make sure to find the entrance of it and follow it (as the woodpath as hole, the snow doesn't accumulate as much on it (30cm)

Travel Information

There is 4X4 path to it but in winter this require a superjeep with only experienced driver and sometime may not be reached
