Iceland Landmannalaugar

Standing in a riverbed at Landmannalaugar in Iceland is just awesome, especially because all those details can change so fast and the valley looks different each time of the year. Surrounded by the painted hills it's beautiful in every direction.

Use the stones of the riverbed as a foreground element and make sure that you have something that leads the eye of the viewer within the image to the background and those beautiful painted hills.

The parking place is marked on the map. This can probably change depending on the time of the year, but usually you can leave your car there just before you have to cross the rivers if you want to get inside the camp. I would just leave it there, because it's only a few minutes more to walk within this beautiful valley.
A 4x4 car is needed though to get there and waterproof shoes if you want to walk around the riverbed to get the best possible shot.
