Iceland Blue Church at Seydisfjordur
Picturesque church at the end of a colorful street. This little town is an artist's colony worth visiting for strolling around, shopping for souvenirs, or having lunch or dinner in one of the restaurants.
Photography Tips
You can play around with different lenses, from wide-angle to capture the entire rainbow road to a zoom lens to compress the church better. I like the blue hour when the lights in the town turn on or even on a rainy day since the colors on the ground are more intense when it's wet.
Travel Information
You can park at one of the nearby parking lots without blocking any roads since this village is relatively small and the streets are tight. On the way here, you have to climb a small mountain pass with your car, which offers some stunning views and is worth being photographed. I would also suggest checking www.safetravel.is when traveling in Iceland since weather and road conditions can change quickly.
