I just update the geo-position for this waterfall a bit to the north because that's where Google Maps locates it. But it's generally super hard to find these places in Iceland with everything looking very similar... ;-)

That is fine, I think I originally tried to pin where I stood as opposed to in the middle of the falls. Do you have a preference? I will note that google maps doesn't quite have it all correct, those first photos on google maps are of Kæfufoss which is one more waterfall to the north.

Okay that's my bad then. It looked so far away that I simply thought that it was marked wrong. Marking the spot where you stood is definitely the right choice + optionally place the purple marker on the subject of the photo so that you know which direction to photograph (for sunrise / sunset planning). Feel free to update the spot again, sorry about that!

No worries! I've been up that canyon multiple times and noticed many of the online maps are wrong. The trail has been under construction and many visitors get the names of the various falls mixed up. This past time I visited I was very deliberate pinning locations in my hiking app and taking photos of signs, and verified on worldwaterfalldatabase.com which appears to have it correct. Thanks for paying attention!
