Iceland Meradalir Volcano
Meradalir Volcano in the southwest of Iceland erupted in 2022 but as of August, signs are indicating that the eruption might have come to an end and the lava flow is declining steadily.
This area is well-known for different volcanos which are active from time to time. Make sure to check the current situation before going there and always be prepared for a hike with sturdy boots and everything you need. In case of an eruption, keep in mind that volcanic gas is dangerous, especially on windless days.
Don't bring animals or small children to this place due to the high risks.
