The Krafla crater is a famous spot in the North of Iceland and very easy to reach by car. You can walk around the crater to take some photos with your camera. It also looks nice from the air.

Photography Tips

Bring a polarization filter if you can't visit during sunrise or sunset. Otherwise, you will have to deal with reflections and the blue color of the lake will be hard to capture.
