This road brings you back to Höfn or further East depending on your driving direction. It ends up in a tunnel which also looks nice if you end up visiting without clouds.

Photography Tips

I flew my drone after I noticed the clouds crawling over the mountains but not covering the peak which was illuminated by the early sun in the morning. Use the road as a leading line in your image for your composition for an aesthetic look.

Travel Information

You can park your car at the small road entering I marked on the map. Especially in the morning you won't see many other cars. Just don't stop on the road itself in case the police passes you.
