Iceland Kirkjufell reflection

The famous Kirkjufell Mountain can be photographed from a variety of locations. Most people head to the waterfall and use it in the foreground with Kirkjufell in the background. Close to the parking lot you can also find a very small pond that offers an amazing reflection. Park your car and walk around since this location offers some amazing views.

Photography Tips

Use a wide angle and try to get as close to the surface of this pond as possible. This is a good Plan B if it's windy and you won't get any reflections at the river or lake nearby!

Travel Information

You can park your car at the designated parking area. It's just a few meters from there. Bring some good footwear as the area is usually pretty muddy.
