This lighthouse close to Vik is one of the best spots to overview some stunning black sand beaches and in the summertime puffins as well. It's worth coming here at any season and any time of the day but can be very crowded.

Photography Tips

Only fly the drone in the winter season when no birds are using the cliffs for breeding. It can get extremely windy and the cliffs are high above the ocean. Don't risk losing your drone. It's also worth photographing the black sand beached or puffins with your camera.

Travel Information

You have to drive up Zick Zack dirt road to get to the lighthouse (no 4x4 needed). It's a short but steep drive. Free parking is available up there. Some trails can be followed to explore the area.
