Iceland Stokksness reflection pool, Iceland
Probably one of the most famous beaches in Iceland after the black sand beach in Vik. The road itself is also worth stopping and is great for photos. But the uniquely shapes mountains are my absolute favorite at this location!
Photography Tips
Come here on a not-so-windy day if you want to get this kind of reflection in the small "lake," which might also be ocean water and only there during specific tide times. I got very close to the water's surface for better reflection results! The peaks are far from you, so you don't need a wide-angle lens for this photo.
Travel Information
You must pay a roughly 1000ISK ticket to enter the road by car. You could also walk here for free, but driving is also fun and saves you a bit of time. You have a few options along the road to park your car to explore the nearby beach itself. It is a road made out of black sand, which is okay to drive on but might be tricky after heavy rain.
