River braids and formations in Iceland are a thing to see and many photographers are searching for them. The glacial water blends with river water and the formations are ever-changing and very nice for top-down shots with the drone.

Photography Tips

park next to the restaurant, go down to the beach, and launch the drone from there. you will have to go around 1500 meters distance depending on where you will find the formations and you will probably have to reach the limit of 120m as well. If you have polarizing filters for the drones use them. You can go any time of the day. This was taken around noon on a full sunny day.
