The famous black sand beach near Vik is one of the most visited places in Iceland. Walking down the coast towards the end of the beach is an excellent idea if you want to get away from the crowds!

Photography Tips

Flying your drone is fun but can be tricky in Iceland due to the harsh weather conditions. Be aware of strong winds and local regulations. The sun adds some colors to a very much black-and-white landscape. I used the DJI Mavic 3 Pro and its different cameras to get compression in my photo.

Travel Information

I parked my car at the Reynisfjara parking lot. It is quite big, and they might start charging parking fees due to the increased number of tourists in Iceland.d Be aware of the dangerous currents and waves at this beach!
