This A-frame cabin in the East of Iceland is a lovely little spot worth a visit! It's easy to miss. I don't know if you can enter the cabin since some of these work as rescue cabins and can be entered.

Photography Tips

I used a telephoto lens (70-200) to get this photo since I wanted the mountain in the background to look as tall as possible. An open aperture also helps to create a blurry foreground, which gives the photo a natural look.

Travel Information

Traveling in Iceland can be tricky, especially in winter when the roads are icy. Inspect carefully and check local websites for weather conditions and road closures. There is no designated parking area for this spot. I tried to park the car along the road without parking on the road itself.
