Along the roads outside Vik, there are not only the famous sea stacks but also some that are enthroned directly on the black beach. The road with little traffic offers good opportunities to photograph the car in style. There is also a cave in the surrounding area, which makes a visit to the area worthwhile.

Photography Tips

Depending on the car color, place the car in front of the black sea stack to create a contrast. You can often do this on Iceland anyway. So make sure you always have something contrasting in your backpack.

Travel Information

From the ring road, take the Hjörleifshöfdi towards the ocean. With a 4x4 you can literally drive all the way on the sand without doubts.
