Iceland F208 - Iceland

This pic was taken at the northern stretch of the F208 road on Iceland, an offroad track which connects the southern end of the F26 with the ringroad. As for most of the F roads on Iceland this spot was pretty isolated from the usual tourist "madness" that is quite common in some places like Geysir or Gulfoss. This makes it the perfect spot for landscape photography... there are hardly any other cars or tourists to distract you.

Shoot this place during sunrise or sunset (which takes place ~10-11pm depending on the time of year)... oh and hope for good weather!

This spot is located roughly 15-20km north of Landmannalaugar on the F208. Closest accomondations are either the Hrauneyjar Guesthouse or the campground at Landmannalaugar. The F208 can be access with a 4x4 vehicle or by bike.
