Iceland Latrabjarg bird sanctuary
To get to Latrabjarg (the westernmost point of Iceland and all of Europe) you have to drive a very narrow, steep, pothole-ridden gravel road (without guard rails) in the rain along sheer cliffs whilst dodging the sheep that run into the road, rock falls, and oncoming traffic. But once there... You quickly realize that it was totally worth the trip.
Photography Tips
These birds will allow you to get very close. But you will still want a good telephoto lens
