India Ahar Cenotaphs, Udaipur
Maharana Sangram Singh built the biggest structure, with its octagonal and 56 pillars about 350 years ago. He and his 21 wives are buried there, together with subsequent Maharajas and a host of other dignifies. The site is packed with cenotaphs. There is even a small step well there.
The site is well-preserved and almost subtle in its decoration. My driver said that there was an adjacent collection of cenotaphs for ladies which is about as big but not generally open to the public.

Photography Tips
A standard zoom should be fine.
Travel Information
I saw the place as I was being driven from the airport to my hotel in Udaipur so I stopped briefly on my way back. I wish I'd given myself more time to explore.
It was still early morning so still fairly cool and I have the place to myself.
