The view from the ridge of the Dzongri peak is one of a kind. Beautiful prayer flags decorate the way up to the summit. The view on the Kanchenjunga range is spectacular.

Photography Tips

Take a high shutter speed even though this is a still landscape image. Reason is that the prayer flags move with the wind and you want them to be sharp.

Travel Information

To get here, a long stretch is necessary. From the start in Yuksom, you need to climb 2.900m elevation gain and 27 km to get here. You start into the hot jungle which can be very tiring. Make sure to bring rain clothes since the weather is unpredictable here.
