India Chinese Fishnets
It is a MUST SEE and I'd also tend to say MUST PHOTOGRAPH in Cochin; the archaic chinese fishnets. The tradition is hundred of years old and they are extremely picturesque - particularly at sunset or sunrise.
Photography Tips
Bring a tripod to shoot long exposures. But it can also be very interesting to photograph the fishermen doing their job ON the fishnets! Negotiate a small tipp BEFORE you step on ;-)
If you have the time and you can afford it charter a boat for a sunrise trip. You will find then very nice subjects (also other fishnets) during your trip.

Travel Information
You will find quiet some of them spread around the area in Cochin. But the ones at Fort are very easy to find and to approach as they are very near the jetty and also very near to almost all guest houses / hotels in Fort. It's usually walking distance if you stay in Fort.
