Indonesia Amed dream - Beach

Amed in the north of Bali is a small but long village along a beautiful coastline which invites to snorkel and to scuba dive. During the night though the Amed beaches especially the ones further in the east are really dark and due to the coastline and the nothing that comes after the coast, it invites everyone to take a picture of the milkyway.

The Milky Way stands in zenith on the sky. Even though the surrounding is so dark, I barely could see the centre with my own eyes. The photo is not a stack. It´s a one-shot edited later on in PS and LR. The sunrise spot is directly from the ground of the hotel.

I´ve stayed two nights in the hotel. The close by sunset point with mount Agung and Batur in the background does worth it to stay. Furthermore, the sunset is magical as well. Parking is available to a degree. Best is to go there by scooter or with a hired driver.
