Travel Information
Rarely anyone goes here. Not a soul of a human was in sight when I was there.
Follow Google Maps/waze directions and road signs until you find a small temple called "Pura Dalem Desa Pakraman Kuning" The entry is just to the left of the temple. You will miss the entry if you're not watchful. Take the 15-20 minutes decent of steep stairs of moss which can be slippery and catch you off guard in several places. Decent the mossy stairs with proper footwear and caution. In my case, I've almost slipped and fallen a few times (it was raining for hours in the morning) and I had to take many careful steps by steps to ensure a firm grip down the stairs.
Reaching the waterfalls, you will see that it is not the safest place to be jumping around carelessly, so take precautions descending the rocks. If you fall down the streams, you'll be in a world of trouble with nobody to bail you out. Go really slow and preplan your steps beforehand. You will want to go barefoot here to feel your footing when jumping carefully from those slippery rocks to rocks to cross the streams to get in front of the waterfall for the best composition.
Climbing back up, I decided to take off and strap my mountain sandals onto my backpack, as I felt I can ascent faster and safer as I can have a better grip ascending the slippery stairs.
