This is a mountain that one can hike to the summit. Many tour guides provide guide to take you up to catch sunrise. From the summit, two other higher peaks in Bali are visible - Mountain Agung and Mountain Abang.

Photography Tips

Wear proper shoes, clothing for the climb especially that you will go early in the morning in order to get the sunrise. Tripod might be useful too if you need slightly long exposure.

Travel Information

It is recommended that you go with a local tour agency who can provide a guide. The cost is about USD 50. You can probably go on your own, but I will not recommend that as the tour guide can help with picking you up at your hotel (130am for me). Arriving earlier before sunrise will also help you get a nice spot too.
