Indonesia Ulun Dani Beratan Temple
Majestic Hindu temple located on a crater lake.
Photography Tips
This is a very popular spot and can get quite crowded, getting there before sunrise is recommended.
Some popular compositions are:
1) Before Sunrise: photograph from the north side to get a nice reflection of the temple in the water
2) As the sun peaks over the east hills: photograph from the west side and get sun stars in the background
3) After the sun is up: photograph from the south side, using backlit bamboo to frame the temple.
Apart from detail shots, a standard wide angle zoom will be sufficient. Drones are not permitted here FYI. After 8 small boats are available for hire which make a nice shot too esp if your prefer people in your images
