Indonesia Karang Bokor
Karang Bokor, 2 kilometers west of Sawarna, is a fantastic location for seascape photography. You'll find a massive seastack covered with trees and vegetation. In front of this seastack lies a rocky ledge on which waves crash to create beautiful foregrounds.
Photography Tips
To photograph this location, you should stay a few days in Sawarna, which has even more photo spots to offer.
From Sawarna you can walk the 3km to this location. First you walk 2km along a paved road and then the final kilometer is along a dirt road. The location is hard to miss. On google maps you see a sign "Rock Glamping Sawarna". This is where you want to go. From there you'll find a good path down to the shore.
The location is great for sunrise, but should also work at sunset.
Make sure to scout during day first. The rocky ledge is trecherous with many holes and crevices. Be careful and also check the tides. You want to be there around medium tide with some good surf. High tide might be too dangerous.
