It's a forest area with some nice lakes where you can walk around, different angles possible.
My shots are from around Lough Carun, Lough Slat is easy accessible, but less photogenic.

Photography Tips

Pack light if you intend to go around the lake, and be flexible. Lots of spots around the lake, you always come along some nice and calm water even on windy days.

It's a gravel road till the parking area, but easily doable with a sedan
